About

Born in Lebanon in 1983, my parents decided it wasn’t a very safe place to raise their 2 daughters (now we r three). So they migrated to the Gulf.

2years in KSA and then settled for a quiet and promising future in Dubai. Yes at the time it was quiet and the opportunities were abundant. When it came time for me to go to uni, I thought I had my whole life planned out. Turns out going back to Lebanon to study was a dream that would not be achieved. I studied Graphic design and decided to double in photography (so that I could spend one more year in school).  The one thing I loved the most about uni was that I could try out different classes and pick up a variety of skills. From painting , to clay molding to cinematography, the one thing that stayed constant it all those classes were my doodles.

The D5 sketches are usually a representation of daily life. Things that we all think of (or maybe just me) but more or less never express them because we think its too childish or not important enough…. No I’m kidding, they are just representations of how i actually see life 😛 You’ll see them from time to time in my blogs.

This actually started as a hub for the doodles, but over time, the blog has evolved into it’s own organism. i can’t help myself but to share things with you. From art, music, advertising, anything entertaining and of course my personal take on it. All these things that i see and experience from the region I have lived and grown up in.

Remember, a blog a day keeps sanity away ©

Hope you enjoy reading my blog much as the wild baboons in my head do.

I come across your blog often and I love your way of writing. I was wondering if you would write something about my fashion line lucky nooni couture. Please take a look and email me back

Hey Jessy. Love the POV on advertising and nicely curated insights. And yes, it’s clear why sometimes you steal the show.
